The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) is the apex body of export promotion in India. Set up in 1965, it has been instrumental in promoting and developing Indian exports, providing a range of services to Indian exporters and importers. With over 2,50,000 members across the country, FIEO serves as a bridge between the exporting community and the government.
Our vision is to make India a global export powerhouse by facilitating market access, providing trade intelligence, and fostering an ecosystem conducive to export growth. We work closely with the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, and various state governments to formulate export-friendly policies.

We conduct over 200 buyer-seller meets annually across various sectors including engineering goods, textiles, pharmaceuticals, and agriculture products. We represent the collective voice of Indian exporters at the highest levels of government. FIEO's policy recommendations have led to significant reforms in export procedures, duty drawback rates, and GST refund mechanisms. Our quarterly meetings with the Commerce Minister ensure direct feedback from the ground. We have been instrumental in the formulation of the Foreign Trade Policy 2023-2028.
FIEO organizes training programs, workshops, and certification courses for exporters on international trade procedures, documentation, quality standards, and digital marketing.
